Try Front&Center free for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, please take a few minutes to pay the shareware fee. Thanks for your support.
What is Shareware?
Shareware is not free. Shareware, like commercial software, is protected by copyright laws. Shareware may be distributed freely, but if you use shareware on your computer past the trial period, you are legally obligated to pay for it.
Shareware's biggest benefit is that you get to try the software on your computer at your convenience before deciding to buy it. The biggest benefit for me is wide-spread distribution at no cost.
The downside for you is not having a floppy, printed manual, and a tech support phone number. The downside for me is human nature: most users do not pay their shareware fees.
How do I register and pay my Shareware Fee?
It's really easy. All you have to do is follow the instructions that appear after you double-click this icon:

This is Kagi Shareware's Registration application. Kagi collects shareware fees and passes them on to the authors. Kagi currently accepts: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, NetCash, First Virtual, US checks, foreign checks in US dollars, and cash in a variety of currencies. If you prefer, you can register directly with me only if your payment is in US cash. My address is in the chapter How to Reach the Developer.
Why should I pay - I have a free, fully functional copy?
Because it's the right thing to do. Shareware is an honor system. I'm relying on your honor and personal integrity to pay me for my work.
Front&Center is not a “hack”, it was developed as carefully and thoroughly as a commercial product. I've spent a couple of hundred hours on this project (coding, testing, writing this manual). In return, I expect you to spend a few minutes and a few dollars to compensate me.
People who use Front&Center after the trial period without paying for it are “shoplifting” from me. Yes, it really is a crime.
Bottom Line:
If you like Front&Center and want to see more quality software from me: pay your fee. If you don't pay, who will?
